Spring Awards Winners 2024
Anchor Group Services proudly announces the winners of the All Stars Spring Awards 2024, recognising exceptional staff who have gone above and beyond. These awards celebrate the outstanding achievements and contributions of individuals and teams who demonstrate excellence and dedication within the organisation.
The cleaning and security team at Market Place Shopping Centre received the Community award for their wonderful initiative, the chatty bench. Launched in January, the chatty bench invites community members who feel lonely or just want a chat to sit and engage with the team. This initiative has made many customers feel 'loved and appreciated', creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere in the centre.

Connor received the Core Values award in recognition of the exceptional service he provides as part of the Campus Support Team at Bedford House, University of Liverpool. Known for his conscientiousness, pleasant demeanour, and strong work ethic, Connor has been consistently applauded by the client for his outstanding daily contributions.

Dave was nominated for the Innovation award by a client, for his exceptional work on the Enhanced DBS portal. The award highlights his innovative approach and meticulous attention to detail, which were crucial in ensuring a seamless transition for a newly awarded cleaning services contract in the North East.

Three remarkable individuals from Market Place Shopping Centre received the Outstanding Act award.. Dave Phillips, Mohammed Rasul, and Duncan Davenport have all been recognised for their exceptional actions and dedication to ensuring safety and efficiency in critical situations. Dave Phillips was honoured for his expertise and quick response during a fire panel evacuation, while Mohammed Rasul and Duncan Davenport were recognised for their outstanding teamwork in protecting two young women from a threatening situation and efficiently coordinating with local authorities.

The Charter Walk cleaning team received the Team award for their outstanding performance. They have been recognised for their dedication to maintaining the highest cleaning standards on site. Retailers and external stakeholders consistently praise the team for their commitment to excellence. Their daily resilience and exceptional teamwork, along with innovation initiatives, have significantly enhanced the cleanliness and overall experience for everyone visiting or working at the shopping centre.
